I am very proud and honored to say I have been crowned ‘Ms. Classic Colorado American Renaissance 2009’. I represented Colorado at the American Renaissance National Pageant for 2009 and placed FIRST RUNNER-UP! It was my first every national pageant and I was honored to be the first runner-up to a fabulous woman, Carol Lynn Pieper. The ARNP is a nationally known, platform-based pageant that rewards women who are active in their communities, families, and careers. Winners have the total package: they are approachable, delightful, sincere, beautiful and genuine. In other words, they are much more than just a pretty face.

BIOGRAPHY: I am President and CTO of Surflocal.Net , a national internet marketing company. My passion and platform is "Helping local business succeed in the 21st century." Local business is on the verge of extinction. Thousands of local businesses go out every month in this country. My company's vision is to stimulate the American economy by providing an avenue for local business to get properly categorized on the major search engines so potential clients searching for thieir industry will find them quickly and easily. If we can boost the local business in our nation and expand their markets, a significant and very positive change would occur. I believe my program can be a world changing asset. I truly want to help local business be able to compete in our ever changing economy. Local business is the heart of our communities. They are the volunteers at all of the events, they are the chamber of commerce members through out your area working for a better business community. Winning this crown would help me in taking my passion nationally to help as many local businesses across the nation that I can.

I support Hope Lives! Breast Cancer Support Center. Everyone knows that breast cancer is bad. But, everyone may not know how expensive care and treatment can be. You may not know how debilitating chemo can be, how impossible everyday routines can become while struggling with pain, how relationships can become strained when cancer becomes another member of the family. The Hope Lives Breast Cancer Support Center was founded in 2001 by Lydia Dody, a Ft Collins businesswoman who had battled breast cancer. After her recovery, Lydia wanted to ensure that the approximately 200 women in Larimer County and Windsor, CO diagnosed each year receive complete post-diagnosis support and care. I want to spread the word nationally to help Hope Lives! help many others with the recovery care and support. Pink Boa 5k Run/Walk Saturday, May 30, 2009 Join us as we run and walk to honor those in Northern Colorado who are battling breast cancer! I also support Realities For Children marketing and promotional company, dedicated to serving the needs of abused and neglected children in Larimer County. Realities For Children provides emergency funding to abused, neglected and at-risk youth in Larimer County. Funding is available on a case-by-case basis to children’s needs when there are no resources available elsewhere, thereby creating a safety net in Larimer County so that our less fortunate children are provided for. These resources are distributed to children in need through the core services of Realities For Children.

MY HOBBIES: I enjoy yoga, pilates, tennis, gardening, tubing down the Poudre River, biking with my husband, shopping with my daughter, and taking trips to all sorts of Colorado resorts. I recently moved to a new home and have taken up 'floating' in my backyard pool...I am also involved with Critter Haven Animal Rescue as a board member, APEX ( Association for Positive Ethical eXchange.)as a board member and Amarillo Crime Stoppers as well as Student Crimestoppers.
